“Every man is guilty of all
the good he did not do”
Want to save a life? Help a dog escape a bad living situation? Free a shelter space for another dog in need? Not quite ready to adopt? Then fostering may be for you.
Safe and Sound doesn't have a brick-and-mortar facility; all of our dogs are in safe, loving foster homes. Dogs stay in their foster home until the perfect forever home is found. This could be a week, a year, or even longer. Generally, puppies, young dogs and smaller dogs tend to find adoptive homes more quickly than adults, seniors, large dogs and special needs pets. But you really never know when the perfect home will come along.
Safe and Sound provides fosters with food, crates, collars and tags, microchips, necessary veterinary care, routine vaccinations, heartworm and flea/tick prevention, and foster-to-foster support.
The foster provides love, snuggles, proper socialization, transportation to events and vet visits, and as much training as possible to help their foster dog get adopted.
If you'd like to foster for Safe and Sound, please fill out a Foster Application or contact us for more information.
